A midsummer sunset brought us out of the house to check out the colors (no instagram necessary in this light with my shoddy photo skills). And below the light shone nicely on the new house color. This was the summer of home improvements (more than I care to think about or list).
We did a fourth of July trip to the old homefront and great state of Wisconsin. It was fantastic (sweltering weather not withstanding). We spent some quality time in Milwaukee. Rocked out in Waukesha (home of Les Paul guitars). Ate some custard. And made rare use of my lifetime membership to the Wisconsin Memorial Union at my Alma Mater the University of Wisconsin Madison.
May took to the two wheeler this weekend, with great success. A big development in life. I can still recall my first time on two wheels with great pride and joy (and some pain as I didn't actually know how to use the brakes yet). Rosa got into the act as well demonstrating her new love of reading chapter books!
Videos below the fold.
