The Cybertrucks have started showing up in Portland. It's hard not to stop and look and reflect that perhaps the future has arrived as well.

The Memorial Union Terrace on my old campus is one of my favorite places in the world. But it is also half a world away from where I live. So this summer I decided to recreate it with a "Little Terrace" here in Maine.

There is a university boom happening in Portland. The University of Southern Maine campus is in the middle of a major overhaul. The Rioux Institute is building a sprawling campus and here the University of New England is building a $100 million dollar all-inclusive medical school building.
