In the liberal Northeast corner of the United States, pandemic restrictions eased more slowly than other parts of the country. And one of the last aspects to return to a semblance of normal is cafe sit-down service. Having been deprived of a coffee and a book at the cafe for over a year now, I relish the step back in.
